Selected Poem(s)

[secret lives of falcons]

{mooblock=No. 4}

he shook and shook the trees for apricots
yellow orange, a single seeded stone
fell from its native life
lukewarm to the touch
like fever finding a body
through care and training

Seasonal Survival Guide

{mooblock=Rules for Leaving}

leave your half smoked Lucky Strikes
leave, while I am sleeping
during that exact moment when
I feel like I am falling

leave the fit of together and call it:
                            happenstance

leave―
but first say:  I don’t love you anymore

(say it aloud    repeat it till you believe it)
