Corey Cook is the author of two other chapbooks: Rhododendron in a Time of War (Scars Publications) and What to Do with a Dying Parakeet (Pudding House Publications). Corey edits The Orange Room Review with his wife, Rachael. Rachael's photographs are featured in Flock and in each issue of The Orange Room Review. They live in Thetford Center, Vermont with their two daughters.

butterfly boldly
flits by, then is lost amid
falling maple leaves
two plump cardinals -
craggy apple tree's entire
yield for the season
splitting wood -
wedge of geese
