An Origami Micro-chapbook presents poems arranged on a single sheet of paper which is folded, origami-style, into a palm-sized book. They are yours to print, read, and share. Our only advice - Recycle to a Friend!
With over ninety poets, this Non-Profit organization shares micro-chapbooks throughout RI, New England & the world-wide web. Our 2009 public debut was on Poets.org in their "Poem in a Pocket." Since then we've made friends at bookstores, libraries, coffee shops, art centers - and readers everywhere.
We've been called an idea with legs by Tom Chandler in The Providence Journal.
We hope to travel far with them!

Excerpt from Heather's article:
The most recent reading was hosted on the top floor of The Towers, overlooking the mouth of Narragansett Bay...
Chairs arched around the podium capped with sculpture and pottery art for sale at one end and refreshments at the other.
The third reader at this event, chosen by lot drawn from a top hat, was poet Nancy E. Brown of West Greenwich.
She read from a selection of poems she’s written about places she has lived, something she calls the “the power of place.”
“I find that places and the attachment to places as a theme something I like to explore,” says Brown.
“I’m interested in why that causes certain feelings.” explains Brown. Two locations common to Brown’s poetry
are Alaska, where she spent much of her adult life, and Mishnock Lake where she currently resides.

Ode to the Wind
Oh, to be the wind,
cling to you like rain, run invisible fingers through your hair, sculpt your cotton dress to your contours like Venus, run away with your sweet perfume tossing it like petals in my wake. To billow your skirts, animate your breath with my spirit flowing in your veins as life; to cling, caress and kiss your moist mouth dry. Oh, to be the wind and take you as my lover.
