Jan Keough

E-mail Print

Originally from Boston, Jan Keough finds that she's been living in RI for many years.  Her poems have appeared in print and online including Naugatuck River Review, Lunarosity, The River Poets Journal, and the 2010 Spirit First Anthology.  Jan was featured in Tom Chandler's "Poetic License" column of the Providence Journal.  Her spoken essay, Experiments with Truth, is part of WRNI's This I Believe series.  Once upon a time, the Bay Area Poets Coalition awarded her 1st Honorable Mention for Lemon Life - a bittersweet story of a man, his marriage, and lemonade.  Happily, she's a co-founder the Origami Poems Project along with Barbara Schweitzer and Lynnie Gobeille.  Helping the world, one folded Origami poetry book at a time!

Some of Jan's Origami poems are available for printing.  See below and click on the titles.
