Julia Meylor Simpson lives in East Providence, RI, and works in corporate communications and public relations. Her most recent essay will be included in "Lessons From My Parents: 75 Shared Moments that Changed Our Lives," an anthology of essays from Familius Publishing. Her poetry has been published in dozens of literary journals, including "Collecting Life: Poets on Objects Known and Imagined," an anthology published by 3: A Taos Press.
Julia has master’s degree in teaching from Rhode Island College and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Iowa State University.
